2025年以来申请人的经历: 北京一位考生2025年12月20日参加A类考试，12月30日查到证书编号并在12月31日提交设备登记，2026年2月4日才收到执照领取通知、次日现场领取（登记到执照约5周，赶上换证高峰）。 [7]

Cost

The operator technical examination/verification is expressly free. A general station-licence fee was not verified. [1]

Processing time

Official timeframe: The authority decides within 30 working days after accepting a complete station application; equipment testing and frequency-coordination time are excluded. Missing material is notified within five working days. [1]

Applicant report since 2025: A Beijing candidate sat the Class A exam on 20 Dec 2025, saw the certificate number on 30 Dec, filed equipment registration on 31 Dec, and only got the licence pickup notice on 4 Feb 2026 (about five weeks from registration, slowed by a renewal rush). [7]

Additional requirements

For a new operator, start with Class A; a minor needs a guardian's identity and relationship proof. [1]
For a fixed station apply where it is located; for a mobile station apply in the province of residence. [1]
