How to get licensed: Mauritius

Official procedure

  1. Obtain the Mauritius Amateur Radio Society (MARS) competency certificate, or an internationally recognized equivalent at Class B level. ICTA amateur licensing guide [7]
  2. Submit the prescribed RA24 Class B application to the Information and Communication Technologies Authority with proof of competence, ID or birth certificate, station details and antenna diagrams if applicable. Class B application requirements [7]

Cost
Class B RA24 has no application fee and an annual licence fee of Mauritian Rs 300; Class A RA23 is Rs 500 annually. [8]
